 Q: I love your stuff, but do you have more? 

A: We separate our products between flagstone soaps that we will sell year round, and seasonal soaps. Seasonal soaps will be loaded every two months for your intrigue and pleasure, but will be limited in stock. As stock runs out of our flagstone products, we will have new batches curing and ready for your purchase under our “Pre-Order” products.

Q: Would you be willing to do a custom order for an event or holiday?

A: Absolutely! Drop us a note from our Contact Us page and we will get back to you to discuss what you are looking for and work out a price estimate for either Bulk or Wholesale orders. For planning purposes, please keep in mind that our soaps generally need 6 weeks to cure before they are ready to be shipped and used.

Q: Do you only sell small order or would you be open to wholesale?

A: Both! We love selling boutique to our individual customers, and we also sell wholesale to other vendors. If you are interested, drop us a note from our Contact Us page and we will get back with you shortly.

Q: Looking at your ingredients, there are some things I don’t know what they are. Why are you using them?

A: At Bar & Basin, we value giving our customers full transparency to understand what is in their product and only using ingredients that are FDA approved, organic, and fair trade. With that said, we also must follow the FDA guidelines for how we list those ingredients. Rest assured we try to write them as simply as possible, but colorants or natural byproducts of soap often have weird names. If a quick Google search does not help answer your question, feel free to shoot us a note and we will be happy to share information about those ingredients.

Q: You have a lot of organic and fair trade ingredients in your product. Does this mean your soaps are organic?

A: Short answer is no. We value using organic and fair trade ingredients whenever we can and will always highlight where they are used for your visibility. Since there are ingredients necessary to make soap that are impossible to make organically (e.g. sodium hydroxide), we do not feel comfortable (nor is it legal under FDA standards) to claim our soap is 100% completely organic, but rest assured the rich oils that bring all the wonderful properties to your skin are organic and fair trade.


Packaging & Shipping

Q: What carrier should I expect to deliver my order?

A: We ship our orders through USPS as our preferred carrier. However, other carriers may be used for wholesale orders. 

Q: When should I expect to receive my order?

A: Depending upon the number of orders we are currently processing, we will process all orders within 1-3 business days upon their submission. Once the package leaves our care, USPS priority mail takes 1-3 business days to deliver.

Q: My package has not arrived within the estimated time frame. What do I do?

A: Contact us immediately! We will do our best to investigate and make sure we make things right.

Q: My package arrived damaged. What do I do?

A: Contact us immediately! Take pictures of your package and we will get in touch with you to make sure we make things right.

Q: I’m international (i.e. not in the United States). Can I still order from you?

A: Sure! Depending on where you are, we will figure out the most economic way to get your package to you. Before you try to order, drop us a note from the Contact Us page and let us know what you want and where we would be shipping to.
